Tonic Music is a UK-based charity support people working in the music industry and experiencing mental health challenges. They provide workshops, training, and programmes that help individuals build confidence, connect with others, and improve wellbeing.

Their programmes are facilitated by qualified mental practitioners, each with significant experience working in music. All of the mental health support is provided in-house by the Tonic Music team - no services on the programmes are outsourced to external organisations.

Within the programmes, they provide four levels of mental health support:

  • Therapy Sessions
  • Peer Groups
  • Skills Workshops
  • Training Courses

Alongside their programmes, Tonic Music offer a catalogue of zines - free, downloadable booklets that offer practical mental health support, using simple techniques and exercises tailored to people involved in music.

They cover topics like anxiety, mood, self-care, and performance anxiety, helping artists and music communities better understand and manage their mental wellbeing.
