We’re delighted to share the 2025–26 edition of our annual Artist File, which offers a closer look at our exceptional roster of musicians. This year’s edition celebrates the exciting addition of four remarkable artists from the 2025 YCAT Final Auditions, alongside our continued partnership with New York’s Concert Artists Guild.

This season also marks the introduction of the inaugural YCAT 40th Anniversary Artist – an award presented each year to one of our newly selected artists, providing enhanced support throughout their first year with YCAT. The first recipient is Samrat Majumder, recognised not only for his outstanding musical talent, but also for his clear artistic vision, ambition, and readiness to make the most of this opportunity.
